Morgan Falls
- Water Source
- Morgan Creek
- Location
- 2 1/2 miles southwest of Marquette
- Size
- Small falls and rapids
- Directions
- From Marquette where US-41/M-28 makes a 90 degree turn
near Lake Superior, go about .5 miles south (to the right
facing the lake) to a signal light at Genesee Street.
Turn right (west) onto Genesee Street and go one block to
Division street (which becomes Co. Rd. 553) and go almost
2 miles. Just before you get to the Marquette Mountain
Ski resort (just before the "Pass with Care"
sign) turn right onto a trail road and go 1.7 miles to an
old bridge over Morgan Creek. Park just before the
bridge. Morgan Falls goes under the bridge.

- Other Information
- I visited Morgan Falls 2 October 1991 and took the larger
photo above. I revisited the falls 29 November 2006 and
took the other photos. The first photo was taken from
near the foot of the rapids; the second was taken from
the bridge, shown in the third photo. While at Morgan
falls, be sure to visit the Unnamed
Falls on Morgan Creek. (You may click on the
picture for a larger version.)
