Niagara Falls
Niagara Falls from the Canadian Side
- Background
- I first went to Niagara Falls when I was about ten years
old. I went again in the ninth grade with a church group.
Those experiences may have started my love of waterfalls,
although I didn't begin to actively pursue falls until
the last ten years or so.

- Unusual View
- The most unusual view of Niagara Falls I have seen is one
that I did not photograph because I did not have my
camera with me. I was flying from Maine to Illinois when
I saw out the window what looked like a white horseshoe
with smoke coming from it. Just as I realized it was
Niagara Falls, the pilot announced that we were flying
over the falls.

- View From Canadian Side
- The best views of Niagara Falls are from the Canadian
side. Here is a picture that I took from there in
addition to the pciture at the top of this page. Click on
any of the thumbnails to see a larger version of the
picture.
-
- View From U.S.A. Side
- Here is a picture from the U.S.A. side of the falls.
While you cannot see the entire falls from this side, you
can get close to them and feel the spray.
