- The river drops about 5 feet in rapids
- Directions
- Go south onto Moore Street from US-2 at the traffic
signal in downtown Bessemer for .3 miles to First Street.
Turn west (right) onto First Street and go to Barber road
(between 1 - 1 1/2 miles during which First Street
changes to Spring Street and then to Old County Road).
Turn south (left) onto Barber Road and go 1.3 miles to
Harding Road. Go east (left) onto Harding Road and go 1.5
miles to Black River Lane. Turn south (right) onto Black
River Lane and go .9 miles to the end of the road.
