- I visited Big Falls September 9, 1991 with my son John.
We used a Jeep to get to the falls. To reach the falls we
needed to ford a river, so I would not have attempted to
do so if I had been by myself. John had been there
before, so he knew that the river was crossable. Do not
attempt to cross during high-water periods or during
threatening weather.
