Take the right fork for about .2 mies to a trail road on the right. Turn right onto the trail road and go .4 miles to a parking area marked by large stones.
The short, east trail to the falls begins on the right side of the stones.
Other Information
I was at Black River Falls on 1 June, 1994 and on 10 October, 1998. There is an island near the foot of the falls that you can cross over to on a small footbridge to get a head-on view of the falls.
