Snow Creek Falls

Location: Bonner (or Boundary?) County, Idaho

Water Source: Snow Creek

Drop: ??

Flow: Year

Directions: From Sandpoint, continue northeast on Rt. 2 and turn to the left on the road just west of the golf course (before you get to the Ranger Station). Take that road to 402 to the falls.

Notes: I went to Snow Falls in Idaho June 22, 2004. These falls were not listed but we got directions from the Ranger Station. We weren’t sure we were on the right road, so we stopped to ask a ranger stopped at 402 and he confirmed we were right and the trail to the falls were about 1/4 mile up the road. We walked down the trail, which was a gentle switchback down a steep hill down to the falls. We came to a fork, and chose the trail to the Lower Falls, which were just a little below. Then we took the trail to the Upper Falls. From the Upper Falls we went back to the fork and up the trail to the car. The trail was at least 1 ½ miles total.

The first photo shows the Lower Falls, the second the Upper Falls. The last photo shows the top of the hill where we parked to walk down to the falls.
