Happycraft Tubby Doll-Maker Kit
Little Lulu and Her Friends Paint by Number
Marge's Little Lulu Magic Kit #1650 has a 1954
copyright by Marjorie Henderson Buell. This Whitman folder
contained "crayons to color and tissues to wipe off."
This kit sold for 59 cents. It appears that it came out in
conjunction with the Little Lulu and her Magic Tricks book and
record - all promoting Kleenex Tissues. All that remain with the
kit that I have are two boards, one cardboard and one paper, with
a slick surface on which the child could draw and then wipe off
to redraw on it. I don't know if anything else, beyond crayons
and tissues, came with it.
Little Lulu Switchable Sewing Cards
These Little
Lulu Switchable Sewing Cards #4779, for ages 4 to 8, have a 1972
copyright with Western Publishing Company, Inc. The box contains
5 Sewing Cards, 5 Sew-on Characters, and 5 Thick Yarn Laces.
Below are pictures of the cards with the characters placed on
them in the "logical" combination. The box states
"Switch and Stitch around Lulu and her friends to make funny
pictures!"
Little Lulu Jumbo Cartoon Color-ups

contains 3 Posters (24 3/4 x 33 3/4 in.) and 4 Giant Crayons (non
toxic).
Happycraft Tubby Doll-Maker Kit
The Happycraft

make a 21 inch doll, including felt: red, yellow, turquoise,
white, black, brown, pastel pink, and bright pink; yarn: brown,
white, yellow, red, pastel pink, and bright pink; needle;
same-size pattern; and instruction sheet. This kid has a price
sticker of $1.00 on it. The Happycraft Doll-Maker Kits were

and 21".
Little Lulu and Her Friends Paint by Number
Happycraft
created a Little Lulu & Her Friends Paint by Number with
copyright by Whitman, Western Publishing Co. The set includes 8
Pictures 11" by 14" each designed for ages 6-12. It
includes 8 non-toxic watercolors, a paint brush, a mixing tray
and a color guide. (You may click on the photo for a
larger picture.) I'm not sure of the copyright date on this, but
it appears to be in the 1970s.
1974
This is a box of Little LuLu Colorforms from Western Publishing Co., 1974. It is like a paper doll with plastic clothes that stick to Lulu. Here is Little Lulu in the different outfits in the box, with some of the accessories.
